The Davis Levin First Amendment Conference is the affiliate's premier public education event to stimulate public awareness and interest in civil liberties. Nationally recognized experts are invited to debate current issues of public interest. In the past, we have hosted Kenneth W. Starr, Former independent counsel, Jay Sekulow, General Counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, Ralph Reed, founding Executive Director of the Christian Coalition, and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Nadine Strossen, President of the National ACLU, has participated in all three prior conferences to debate.
