The ACLU of Hawai`i is active in working to educate the public about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Emphasis is placed on the importance of civil liberties issues that affect our daily lives.
Public education on civil liberties matters is conducted in coordination with the legal and legislative programs and through special projects. Our aim is to explain in clear, simple terms what the Bill of Rights means and what the ACLU is doing to defend and extend individual freedom.
